Education and Childcare: Supporting Teaching in Schools
LEVEL 2: T LEVEL FOUNDATION YEAR (NCFE CACHE)
This is a full-time programme which is studied over one year with progression to a T Level.
This course prepares learners to work with children between birth and 19 years. This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in early years, primary, teaching and other related careers. This course will allow you to progress to the T Level in Education and Childcare.

Successful completion of a broad range of GCSEs
These must include:
English Language or Maths at grade 4
one other related subject at grade 4
All students on a Level 2 course will also be studying towards GCSE Maths and or English if they have a grade 3 or below at GCSE.
You will also be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS). It will be administered by the college at the start of the course. The cost is £20 (non-refundable).

Our practical scenario room will give you the opportunity to work with baby simulator dolls and software used by schools to monitor children's progress.
You will gain hands-on experience in a real school environment ranging from early years to key stage 4.
Hear from a range of inspirational speakers such as teachers, social workers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, nurses and midwives.
EXPERT PRACTITIONERS
The Health and Child Studies team have published research on topics education and child development and have professional experience in a range of industries including lecturing at universities, nursery management and care home management.
Outside of college, members of the Health and Child Studies team teach yoga, run marathons and take care of allotments.
