Creative Media, Production and Technology
LEVEL 3 EXTENDED DIPLOMA (UAL)
This is a two-year course and equivalent to 3 A Levels.
Our media course offers you the opportunity to develop theoretical and practical skills needed for the creative media industries. On this full-time course you will work on a variety of practical projects including animation, design, music videos, advertising production, filmmaking, TV production and photography, as well as completing theory units such as research and film studies.

YOU WILL
create a range of Digital Media solutions through a variety of projects
make your own film products
make posters, title sequences, animations and web pages
research current industry practices and visit TV studios and screenings
develop your communication skills

A minimum of 5 GCSEs (average score of 4)
These must include:
English Language or Maths at grade 4
Students currently taking a Level 2 vocational course will need a minimum of a Merit in a related subject.

PROFESSIONAL WORKSPACE
You can expect to work in the dedicated Media-Suite using MACs that have specific media and design software. You will have access to up-to-date camera and filming equipment as well as enjoy the use of various editing suites to master your projects.
